Shop Local Collective is a home based family run business, located in Toronto, established in 2020. Our passions include collaborating with fellow small business entrepreneurs to showcase beautiful product, social justice causes, and giving back to charities in the community.
Shop Local Collective offers a collection of brands by local Makers (everything from sewn creations, to artisan soaps & bath bombs, to soy candles) and an in house brand with ability to customize merchandise just for you. All items are carefully selected and make great treats on their own, or combined in a gift box- free of charge. Within the SLC live three sub-brands:
Shop LOVE Collective is a brand dedicated to selling merchandise in support of causes we believe in. Every S-Love-C item has a charity associated with it, and a defined amount that will be donated from each sale. We support causes such as Indigenous Reconciliation, Destigmatizing Mental Health, LBGTQ+, Racial & Gender equality, anti-bullying, and more. To date (January 2022) we have donated over $1,300 back to related causes.
Shop CUSTOM Collective offers personalized clothing, apparel, and accessories. The ability to customize in house has iced the cake on so many gift boxes, with the addition of names, sayings, inside jokes, and favourite hobbies (or all of those things together!) Lastly KIDS KOLLECTIVE is a passion project inspired by our 7 and 9 year old sons, where we nurture the entrepreneurial spirit of children, teaching them about brand building, product development, and ecommerce. 100% of the proceeds from Kids Kollective items go back to their young creators.
